Alex is a 5 year old neutered male. He is great with kids, my grandkids have mauled him repeatedly and he just laps it up. He loves, loves, loves attention and affection, but if you're busy he's content to just be in the same room with you. He's been great with our other male dogs and my niece's female boxer that comes to visit now and then. He's also been great with our calves and horses, doesn't show any inclination to chase or harrass them. He is however inappropriately fasinated by our neighbor's chickens and cats, so he'll need to be watched around them. He has some obedience training, he knows sit, leave it, go, come here, no... stay and lay down are getting better but it still need some reinforcement. He is pretty good on a leash, pulls a little right out of the door, but settles down nicely as the walk progresses. He is housetrained and has very nice house manners, he is everybit the gentleman. He does well with a structured environment, he's a little insecure if left without boundries.

Napa is about 5-6 years old. She is easy to walk on leash, playful with other dogs and very easy to handle. Napa is a very nice girl, but not good with cats.

Issak is a five year old blue doberman boy. He finds himself needing a new home because his current owner has become too ill to keep him. Issak is a very active boy, he is used to going running and biking with his owner, but, now that she is getting progressively disabled is hoping to find soneone who will continue to do those activities with him. He does get along with big dogs without a problem.

Belle is 7 years old, very well mannered with people, but does NOT like cats or small animals such as squirrels or rabbits. Belle loves to play ball, she likes going on walks and going on car rides, she loves to just chase you around the yard.

Rusty is four years old, a nice, friendly boy, good with kids, but not great with small dogs and cats. His owner moved to a place that doesn't allow dogs.

Suzie turned up at a shelter, so she has no history. She seems a little shy, but friendly.

Trait is blue, 3.5 years old, good with most dogs, good w/kids, & cats. House and crate trained.

Lancer is a one-year-old male who has had some obedience training, is good with kids and other dogs and is crate trained.

Fasbey is 1 1/2 years old. He has the best personality - he isn't aggressive in any way, he is loving, smart, and a very sweet dog. We did a board and train program with him so he is very well behaved. We love our dog and we want to find him a home with people who will love him as much as we do. Owner is allergic to dogs.

Sundance, one year old red male, able to jump a six foot fence in one single bound" but he is learning not to jump! Might be good agility prospect :-) Very sweet, plays nicely with other dogs, crate trained, calm for his age.

Mozart is a two-year-old male, friendly with people and other dogs, but not good with cats, and very protective of his family.

JoJo and Jack were born Feb 14, 2011. Are housebroken, walk on a leash, know sit. Know what a toy box is and what to do with the bones they stole from someone else. Very friendly with kids, cats and other dogs. Desperately need to find their forever home so they can finish growing up surrounded by love.

Apollo is a very sweet boy, ten months old. His owner has health issues and can't take care of him. He needs some training, and needs a home without cats or small dogs. Apollo is very smart and quick to learn, and he loves every person he sees.

Rocko is one year old, very sweet and playful. We're told he is good with kids, is very energetic and in need of some obedience training.

Tank is great with kids, dogs (big & small, although he's a lot more playful than some of them want to be). He seems very friendly with men and women, and is crate trained. He's a big boy, about 80#, still thin but has put on a lot of weight at his foster home.

Kai, which means "the sea" in Hawaiian, has been very spoiled, is used to a lot of attention and loves to be petted and to snuggle as one of his current owners work at home. His current owners are heart-broken to give him up for adoption and would like to come visit him or "dog-sit" him if the new owners need him watched when they vacation or leave town.

Zeus is one year old, very friendly and playful. He has been living in a small apartment with three cats.

Lotus is a 2 year old purebred female Dobie that was surrendered because the family lives near three schools and kids are coming by and teasing her and she jumped up on the fence and snapped at one child that was trying to hit her with a ruler. She lives with a boxer and 5 kids in the family - they have never had a problem with her before and she has no bite history at all. She is very playful and does great with the kids in her family and others that aren't going up and down the fence teasing her. The family talked to parents of the children to no avail. They didn't want to part with her but feared what might happen if she remained in this situation.

Happy (aka Copper), 2 1/2 year old male, very nice friendly boy, but not good with cats or other male dogs, fine with female dogs and older children. He was returned because of a conflict with the adopters male dog:

Diamond is a 4 year old Doberman Pinscher. He was signed over by a previous owner who could no longer care for him. Diamond is a very good boy, he is very well behaved and is a great family dog. He loves car rides and gets along great with other dogs. Diamond does like to chase cats so should be watched when there is a cat around. He is completely housebroken and ready to be your new family dog!

Gracie is a sweet girl, around a year old, needs some training. She was abandoned by her owners.

Runner is one, very sweet and wants to be with people. He will sit and down and also shakes hands. He gets along with smaller dogs and a female dobe. Wants to play. Is very agile, jumps over the two foot gate effortlessly, and your legs, the other dogs, anything in his way.

Panzer is seven months old, hasn't had much training, but is good with kids and other dogs and is young and willing to learn.

Tyson is five years old, full of energy, great with other dogs. Tyson is a very sweet boy, but needs an owner who can give him limits..

Whitty is quite the sweetheart. There don't seem to be any issues with him other than he is hungry and doesn't want to give up his food. There is no aggression in his action just a hurried frenzy to finish before he loses his food. He is definitely photosensitive to all light. He does not seem to be afraid of anything or anyone and has been socialized quite well by someone in his past.

Dino is five, Jade is seven, well-loved pair whose owner has to move into a place which doesn't allow dogs because of life changes beyond her control. They would love to remain together, but can be placed separately. They would be fine with older children, and Jade would be OK with smaller children.

Shanel is six,very friendly and affectionate, good with kids, lived with another dog. She had puppies not long ago, and still has her puppy tummy. She has nice cropped ears, but she can curl them when she wants to.

Storm was six years old on Sept 27. She is a small, gentle blue girl. She has some alopecia, but is a cutie in spite of it. She may have CVI. We would love to find a home or a foster home for this sweet girl where she is the only dog or one with another very calm, mellow dog.

Several months back I pulled a very nice six year old male from carbon county animal shelter. He was owner released, they had him since he was a puppy for their handicap child , he served as a companion and service dog for him. After his death they no longer needed him!! I placed him in a good home however hard times have burdened them and they are losing their home, consequently I am looking for a new forever home. He is good with all animals, crate and housetrained. He is amazing in the fact he body blocks you and children from dangers ie: from the stairs ect... He would make a great dog for that someone special! We had him neutered and all shots current Thanks

Charley is four years old, and has had an awful life. Since she was a young dog, she was kept outside in a small kennel- no matter if it was snowing outside, or a hot day, Charley was forced to bear the weather. On top of all that she was forced to raise litter after litter of puppies in out in the cold, her previous owner just wanted the money her pups offered. In spite of her past, Charley is s happy, friendly girl who is fine with other dogs.

Raa is a big sweetheart, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, except for cats. HE HATES CATS. He likes sleeping in the bed with his chosen friend(usually it was one of our boys). He LOVES kids and is very tolerent of even the worst child. He loves car rides, camping and hiking, but if he gets loose, it will be hard to catch him. He is a runner. The only way to catch him is to pull the car ahead of him, open the car door and call his name. He will run and jump in. He has been known to climb fences and chairs and anything that would give him a high view vantage point. He has a quirky habit of sleeping on his back with his legs up in the air. I have NEVER heard him bark. Instead he lets out this half yodel, half whine sound. It's very loud and very deep and can be heard at a distance. It basically sounds like a bad opera singer. Other then that he is the best dog ever. He gets along well with other dogs, we made sure he got socialized. I think the only thing he is afraid of is being left alone and going to the vet. Oh yes, he IS housebroken, when he has to go he WILL LET YOU KNOW.

Zo is six months old, sweet, friendly with other dogs. He has a broken leg which will probably require surgery, so he may not be available for adoption right away

Jasmine is two years old, playful, energetic girl who has had some obedience training, and would thrive with an experienced owner who can spend lots of time with her.

Ducati is 18 months old, energetic and friendly, good with other dogs and kids (lived with an eight-year-old), but probably too active for toddlers. He would like an experienced owner who is willing to work on his obedience training and give him lots of exercise.

Cyprus is a “Velcro” dog. He loves affection and gives it back in return. He is obedient and very gentle. He loves to chase balls, play in the water and be among the family. He loves walks and short runs, loves to play ball and run in the sprinklers. He is at his best behavior when he is exercised daily. He is a wonderful dog and if circumstances were different, he would live out his life with his current owners. He needs a family or couple that is willing to make him a member of the family. He currently lives with a cat and is very patient and loving to it.

Bear is about 3 or 4, a sweet boy who is friendly with people, including kids, and seems fine with other dogs.
