She has Arthritis, we give her a natural supplement daily to help her, she usually does fine but you can tell by the way she walks that she is uncomfortable sometimes. She really doesn’t have any bad habits ___________________________________________________________ Duke is aweet boy, good with kids (lived with four kids), house and crate trained. He does pretty good at getting along with larger dogs but not so much with smaller dogs or cats. Divorce situation and husband (dog's owner) being transferred and wife won't keep hum. Duke is confused about all of the changes in his life. Currently with owner's parents. . ___________________________________________________________ Ares is a good-natured big boy, four-years old, good with most other dogs. ___________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________ Missy is shy at first, but once she warms up to you she is very loving. She gets along fine with the dogs she lives with, but hasn't been around other dogs. She has never been around cats. Missy does well kids and everyone once she gets to know them. She is crate trained. Missy is a blue female, 6 yrs old. ___________________________________________________________
~~~~~~~~ ADOPTED DOGS ~~~~~~~~~ Red, friendly boy, one-year old, good with kids and cats, crate-trained ___________________________________________________________ Dobie, located in Bakersfield CA needs a home or fOster home ASAP. He is 9 years old, unneutered, walks nicely on a leash, gets along well with cats and knows basic obedience. ___________________________________________________________ Maizey is a beautiful 4 year old Doberman. She is house trained and crate trained. Maizey is good with kids. She is good with other dogs after getting acquainted. She is not good with cats and enjoys chasing them. Maizey becomes very protective of her family and needs time to get acquainted to strangers. Maizey has a lot of energy. She loves her rubber balls and can play fetch for hours.

_______________________________________________________ Howie is nine mos old. Sweet boy, likes people, good with other dogs. Cats & kids unknown. Blue, cropped ears not standing well. Currently in foster home being crate and house trained. ______________________________________________________ Max is almost one year old, beautiful (still growing) big boy, house and crate trained but needs more obedience, exercise & work on manners. Loves to play ball and snuggle on the couch. Too boisterous for young kids. Not used to living with other dogs or cats. Definitely needs a home willing to dedicate the time to giving him the exercise and training he needs to become a great dog.
___________________________________________________________ Pyper is an energetic 14 month old spayed female. She is house, crate and doggy door trained. When she is in places she knows well with people she knows, she is very affectionate, loves attention and is a cuddle bug. She has not had formal obedience training, and can be nervous in new situations and when out on walks (especially around men she does not know), but is very smart and is eager to keep working on her manners and meeting new people and dogs. Pyper would love another doggy companion, but she can play a little rough sometimes and that has caused her a few problems when she is getting to know other dogs, but with time and a little direction, she does very well with the male dog she is living with now. Her previous owner has said that she was OK with children, but this has not been verified, especially with children she does not know. No cats. Pyper would do best in a calm, structured active home.
___________________________________________________________ Buddha is a sweet boy with a very calm demeaner, gentle touch, about 5 years old. He takes anything from us so gently even as his curiosity peaks. He is super smart boy that loves to learn and please. He has adjusted to his Foster home very well considering he was found outside and greatly emaciated.
____________________________________________________ Lily is a spayed blue female, around 2 years old. She is very sweet but also timid, especially around people she does not know, and needs some help building her confidence. We do not think that she had much experience with living indoors around humans, but she loves being around other dogs and was quickly succeeding at learning how to be an indoor dog in her last home. She has a great track record with cats, and loved cuddling and getting groomed by the last one she lived with. She does not like to be in a kennel at all and will do her best to break out of them. She does well on walks with other dogs, but is still learning how to go on walks by herself. She can be skittish around sudden movements, especially when they are in her direction.

___________________________________________________________ Almira is three years old, house trained and good with people and after a time good with other dogs and cats. Not used to very small children. Had some obedience.
___________________________________________________________ Tommy is good with people, kids, cats, other dogs. House trained. Owners don't have fenced yard and don't have time to exercise him. A very happy, energetic 7 yr. old.
___________________________________________________________ Ruger spends most of his time indoors but also loves being outside in the nice weather. He knows basic commands and a few tricks and is great with all adults. Ruger has not taken to our baby and he is now one. He is anxious around him and growls when the baby is near. He does fine with older kids. He is OK with all other dogs. Four years old.
___________________________________________________________ Zeuss is a sweet boy, given up because owner had no time for him. He was actually her son's dog but son went to Europe and is living there for an undetermined time. He's house & doggie door trained unless it's raining or snowing, then sometimes he'll have an accident inside. Sweet boy with men & women. Unsure of small children, NO CATS, good with other dogs after proper intro and if the other dog is good and calm. Crate trained and loves to chase a ball and go for hikes.

___________________________________________________________ Freya is one year old, She does very well with kids and other people, though a little shy at first. She also does well with other dogs, cats, and chickens. When kenneled at the Vet for vacations her report card always says how sweet she is and how much she loves to play. Her favorite thing are chasing water from the hose, playing fetch outside, snuggling with anyone who will let her, and running! She loves chasing butterflies and moths and being with you. She walks well on a prong collar but will pull without one. She is still in the puppy chewing everything stage, especially socks.

___________________________________________________________ Daisy is a asweet, easy-going girl, likes people, good with all other dogs. House and crate-trained. She was dumped at the sheltler in bad shape, but with TLC is doing fine.

She is OK with other dogs but has had some conflicts with the heeler she lives with, so might be better as an only dog. She is good with cats. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle. She is definitely a velcro dog. Good with older kids, hasn't been aroound small children

House and crate trained but doesn't care for the crate and escapes wire crates. He's had quite a bit of training but stuggles with separation anxiety. Two years old.

Meet Otto! He is a big, friendly, well-mannered boy, good with kids and small dogs, even cats. Seven years old, current on all shots, crate trained. Lives with Zoe (below)and would love to be placed together with her.

It appears he may have been used as "bait" for fighting dogs. He needs to learn to trust again in a calm environment as an only dog or perhaps only one other dog, preferably a female. No young children at this time until we learn more about him. Sissy is very sweet, crate trained and good with kids. She is eight years old, but is in good health and looks and acts younger.
Crimson. One-year-old male. No cats, no other males. Great with kids, even toddlers. House trained. Friendly with men & women.
Sophie is eleven years old, good with kids and adults, gets along with most dogs,including small dogs and males.
Harley is blue, sweet seven year old, house and crate trained, good with kids. Grew up with Sissy, could be placed with her but also can be placed seperately.
Anubis is a 10 year old, neutered Dobe. He does wonderfully with kids and adults; not sure about cats, but he seemed uninterested in chickens. He has done well with our dogs who are mellow, but doesn't seem particularly interested in playing or interacting with them. He does not like to be left alone, but that may be related to his recent upheaval.
Jace is a young male, good with kids and most other dogs

Drake, around 5-6 years old, good with kids and with any adults. He does take time to warm up to new strangers when he first meets them but once he does all he wants is love. He loves being petted and you're his instant best friend when you do. He is good with other well behaved dogs and he is also good with cats. He likes going on hikes and being able to run around and has learned to play fetch.
Maverick is ten months old, needs some training, currently at Salt Lake County Animal Shelter
Abby is nine years old, house trained, very nice girl, no health issues. Owner don't have time for her.
Abby is a Dobie mix, around 8 years old, very friendly, good with kids

Skylir is 3 1/2 years old, loving, obedient, house and crate trained. She has some allergy problems, but mostly controlled by diet.
Dex was placed as a service dog (by us) but is maturing into a more protective dog, which doesn't work for the owner. Happy dog, just needs some training. House and crate trained. Well trained on leash and well socialized.
Roxy is 2 1/2 years old, good with kids and other dogs, not so good with cats.
This pretty girl is in need a new home. Major life changes are forcing the owner to look for a new home for Cleo. Very sweet with people (kids too) and cats. She is not fond of other dogs, but OK with some. Very much a well behaved house dog. If you can give this girl a wonderful home. Please contact us.
Maggie is 3 1/2 years old.. She is cute and sweet, but very territorial. Good w/kids, cats unknown. Shy when she meets people at first. Very smart and loves to cuddle. Walks great on a leash. On a no wheat diet for incontinence.
Coco is sweet but nervous at first. Owner turn in (divorce) says good w/kids. House trained, good w some other dogs, some not. Nice girl. Loves to play ball.

Remmy is a young male, estimated age three to five years old, very friendly and playful, a sweet, happy boy, always smiling, very friendly, playful and energetic. He appears friendly with other dogs, is known as the "snuggler" at the kennel.
Fergie is loving, playful, and way too smart for her own good. Unfortunately, she is also nervous around small children. She is an energetic dog who needs a lot of outdoor time and personal interaction.
Karmella is a young female, good with kids and most dogs.
Pretty Penny aka: Ruby, is very sweet with adults and OK with big dogs (males) once she's used to them. House trained, lots of energy and would love an active home that will keep her busy. She is NOT good with small dogs and NOT good with young children (older kids OK). Becomes very attached to her people and very protective of her favorites.
Daisy is very sweet. Good with kids of all ages and good with other dogs and house trained. She was in bad shape when we got her; a very bad case of mange but that is gone now. This condition may stay away with the right environment but could return if she is stressed. Medication & shampoo can run $40 - $60 a month, but she may never need them again. We have had dogs with this condition before that, when put into a loving home, have never had a problem again.
Johnny is good w/older kids (small unknown, but he's a very big dog, so toddlers might not be the best). He's crate and house trained. Very mellow, friendly dog. 5 years old.
Desoto is ok with kids but tends to bowl over the little ones. Good with most other dogs if slowly introduced. Has some training.
Xander is a three-yr-old male, a loving sweet boy that needs lots of human - dog interaction along with lots of exercise. Has a sensitive stomach and needs a good quality food. Does not like any type of cage - kennel. Loves to dig. He has been living and patrolling 2+ acres for most of his life and does best with room to move. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. He is an intelligent dog that wants to please his owner all the time.
Linus is a three-year old red boy.
Lucca is three years old, has a nice coat for a fawn, a friendly boy, good with kids and other dogs.
Duke is six or seven years old, a very mellow, affectionate, and friendly guy. good with some other dogs, especially females. Trained to a doggy door.
Sequoia just turned two years old. She was fostered for a year by a family with three Dobermans where she was never accepted into the pack and ended up fighting with the female. She seems to get along OK with most dogs.
Daisy is extremely sweet and good with other dogs. She is being treated for mange.
Hawk is in the Meridian Valley Humane Society shelter. He is three years old, high energy and a happy boy, but has some gait issues which haven't been diagnosed definitely.
Lola was returned by her adoptive family because she was afraid of the husband. She is sweet but very shy and fearful.
Dutchess is a sweet, playful and great with other dogs, large and small, and good with kids. She is a mix, 18 months old.
Ares is an eight-month-old blue, well-mannered and friendly, a little shy at first, but a very nice boy.
Saydee, 2 yrs., very sweet with people, good with kids. Seems unsure about other dogs, but doesn't seem aggressive with them.
Damu just turned two on January 26. He likes to be around his family. He is obedient and extremely gentle. He loves to chase balls, tear up stuffed animals, shake a rag, and run!! He is crate trained, but wants out when family are home. He is very good in a car. He knows he is only allowed in the back seat. He knows how to shake, sit, lay and stay. He is highly motivated by treats. He grew up with cats and children. He may chase a strange cat, but he doesn’t touch the felines that live with him.
Dixie is in Montana, in a foster home, 5 years old, blue cropped and docked. Friendly, playful & healthy aside from typical blue coat thinness ...No cats ...probably okay with other dogs properly introduced and Doberman savvy. No sign of aggression at Shirlee's house but separated by kennel runs. Very exuberant and happy to retrieve
Lennox is a one-year old blue, good with kids and other dogs, has alopecia (hair-loss) related to his color.
Angel is six years old, good with kids and dogs (lived with a chihuahua and two young boys). Her owner doesn't have a yard or time to take her for walks. She wants a home where she gets attention and exercise.
"Sport" is about 2 years old (we think) mostly Doberman but could be a mix. Very friendly, good with kids, other dogs. Would like an active family to play ball with.
Nikka is four years old, friendly and good with children. She would do best in an experienced Doberman home.
Eva is around 18 months old, friendly and playful, but very protective of her family. She would do best in an experienced Doberman home.
Bailey really needs a forever home. She is 7 years old, good in the house, up on shots, spayed, natural ears, real sweet, great with children and people Needs a fenced yard. She is on medication for incontinenance, it works real well so long as she gets her meds.
Capone is a young male, a sweet friendly boy. He was given up because he was too playful for the older Boxer in the home.
Titus and Casey are six and seven years old, housetrained, good with aadults and older children.
Mozart is a two-year-old male, friendly with people and other dogs, but not good with cats, and very protective of his family.
Alex is a 5 year old neutered male. He is great with kids, my grandkids have mauled him repeatedly and he just laps it up. He loves, loves, loves attention and affection, but if you're busy he's content to just be in the same room with you. He's been great with our other male dogs and my niece's female boxer that comes to visit now and then. He's also been great with our calves and horses, doesn't show any inclination to chase or harrass them. Alex has separation anxiety, not uncommon in rescue dogs, and would do best in a home where someone is home a lot.
Alfi is seven years old. She is extremely loyal to her 'person' and gets along amazingly well with men, women, children, and cats. She does get along with other submissive dogs, but with her unpredictable aggression she would be best as an only dog. Her greatest nemesis is the squirrel, so I assume she will loath small pocket pets in the same manner. She has also been through training and does well off leash in a controlled environment and responds well to commands.
Wikieup is a young male, around a year old, from the shelter, so we are just learning about him, but he seems very sweet.
Gustav is now 2 yrs. He is sweet and loving but is very high energy, needs an exerienced Doberman home that will give him plenty of exercise and some obedience training. He would do best with a female dog.
Ellie, 18 months, good with other dogs, in Vernal in a foster home.
Daisy (AKA Daisy May) is a fun, loving dog with such a sweet heart and soul. We truly are heartbroken about this but know that it is in her best interest to move on with another owner who can provide everything she needs. She is very playful with her brother and sister dogs who she lives with but doesn't always like strange dogs coming up behind her at the dog park. Husband is in military, deploying soon and they can't find a place that will take their dogs.
Baya is eleven months old, raised with kids, good with other dogs.
Ella is around one year old, good with dogs, cats and kids!
Daffy, 7 yr old female, beautiful and smart...knows how to use a dog door, is house trained, sits on command and waits before she starts eating (been working with her on that instead of gobbling her food down). Needs a home without cats.
Male/neutered Housebroken, cratetrained, good w other dogs, cats, kids, people. Obiedience trained. The whole shabang! He is seven years old.
Shadow is 18 months old, raised with kids, good with other dogs, all natural.
George is a 6 month old puppy natural ears,natural tail. He was born 11/11/11. No issues, great with kids and cats but doesn't like bicycles. He has finished puppy kindergarten obed.
Walter (Wally) is a 5 year old mild mannered Red Doberman. Walter loves being with a family. He will shake hands, sit and lay down on command. He will return or come back using the command word "come" . Loves treats will not get into them until given permission. He loves chew toys he never chews them up keeps them around for a long time. Every morning he will do a happy dance to get fed. Walter has been greatly loved .
Ruger is 18 months old.. He learns amazingly fast! He is very treat driven, but now that he's bonded he also craves praise, so he's super eager to please. He is very high drive, so he will need family that is active, hiking, biking, running, etc. Fine with other dogs and livestock, but hasw a high prey drive and may not be safe around chickens and cats. He has only been lightly tested with kids, a 2 year old girl, whom he followed around submissively with his ball in his mouth trying to get her to throw it for him. He's very smart dobe and just wants a pack leader in his life that will give him unconditional love.
Magnum is seven years old, owner doesn't have time for him. He is sweet dog, wonderful with children.
Henrick will be 2 yrs old on May 27. He is good with dogs of all sizes, cats and children. He could use a little more training, but he has very good manners, loves rides in the car, and enjoys trips to the dog park. Henrick requires more attention and exercise than we are able to give him. We are very sad to have to let him go, but we feel that if he goes to a home that can give him the attention and exercise he deserves he would be much better off in the long run.
Roxy is a 5-year old female, good with dogs and kids.
Rocky is a one-year-old male,exteremely thin and looks to have been neglected, but seems to be a very sweet, calm boy, fine with other dogs.
Lucky is three years old, all natural, very sweet. She came from a situation of neglect, but seems fine with other dogs and people, and was a hit with everyone at the shelter.
Napa is about 5-6 years old. She is easy to walk on leash, playful with other dogs and very easy to handle. Napa is a very nice girl, but not good with cats.
Issak is a five year old blue doberman boy. He finds himself needing a new home because his current owner has become too ill to keep him. Issak is a very active boy, he is used to going running and biking with his owner, but, now that she is getting progressively disabled is hoping to find soneone who will continue to do those activities with him. He does get along with big dogs without a problem.
Belle is 7 years old, very well mannered with people, but does NOT like cats or small animals such as squirrels or rabbits. Belle loves to play ball, she likes going on walks and going on car rides, she loves to just chase you around the yard.
Rusty is four years old, a nice, friendly boy, good with kids, but not great with small dogs and cats. His owner moved to a place that doesn't allow dogs.
Suzie turned up at a shelter, so she has no history. She seems a little shy, but friendly.
Trait is blue, 3.5 years old, good with most dogs, good w/kids, & cats. House and crate trained.
Lancer is a one-year-old male who has had some obedience training, is good with kids and other dogs and is crate trained.

Fasbey is 1 1/2 years old. He has the best personality - he isn't aggressive in any way, he is loving, smart, and a very sweet dog. We did a board and train program with him so he is very well behaved. We love our dog and we want to find him a home with people who will love him as much as we do. Owner is allergic to dogs.
Sundance, one year old red male, able to jump a six foot fence in one single bound" but he is learning not to jump! Might be good agility prospect :-) Very sweet, plays nicely with other dogs, crate trained, calm for his age.

JoJo and Jack were born Feb 14, 2011. Are housebroken, walk on a leash, know sit. Know what a toy box is and what to do with the bones they stole from someone else. Very friendly with kids, cats and other dogs. Desperately need to find their forever home so they can finish growing up surrounded by love.
Apollo is a very sweet boy, ten months old. His owner has health issues and can't take care of him. He needs some training, and needs a home without cats or small dogs. Apollo is very smart and quick to learn, and he loves every person he sees.
Rocko is one year old, very sweet and playful. We're told he is good with kids, is very energetic and in need of some obedience training.
Tank is great with kids, dogs (big & small, although he's a lot more playful than some of them want to be). He seems very friendly with men and women, and is crate trained. He's a big boy, about 80#, still thin but has put on a lot of weight at his foster home.
Kai, which means "the sea" in Hawaiian, has been very spoiled, is used to a lot of attention and loves to be petted and to snuggle as one of his current owners work at home. His current owners are heart-broken to give him up for adoption and would like to come visit him or "dog-sit" him if the new owners need him watched when they vacation or leave town.
Zeus is one year old, very friendly and playful. He has been living in a small apartment with three cats.
Lotus is a 2 year old purebred female Dobie that was surrendered because the family lives near three schools and kids are coming by and teasing her and she jumped up on the fence and snapped at one child that was trying to hit her with a ruler. She lives with a boxer and 5 kids in the family - they have never had a problem with her before and she has no bite history at all. She is very playful and does great with the kids in her family and others that aren't going up and down the fence teasing her. The family talked to parents of the children to no avail. They didn't want to part with her but feared what might happen if she remained in this situation.
Happy (aka Copper), 2 1/2 year old male, very nice friendly boy, but not good with cats or other male dogs, fine with female dogs and older children. He was returned because of a conflict with the adopters male dog:
Diamond is a 4 year old Doberman Pinscher. He was signed over by a previous owner who could no longer care for him. Diamond is a very good boy, he is very well behaved and is a great family dog. He loves car rides and gets along great with other dogs. Diamond does like to chase cats so should be watched when there is a cat around. He is completely housebroken and ready to be your new family dog!
Gracie is a sweet girl, around a year old, needs some training. She was abandoned by her owners.
Runner is one, very sweet and wants to be with people. He will sit and down and also shakes hands. He gets along with smaller dogs and a female dobe. Wants to play. Is very agile, jumps over the two foot gate effortlessly, and your legs, the other dogs, anything in his way.
Panzer is seven months old, hasn't had much training, but is good with kids and other dogs and is young and willing to learn.
Tyson is five years old, full of energy, great with other dogs. Tyson is a very sweet boy, but needs an owner who can give him limits..
Whitty is quite the sweetheart. There don't seem to be any issues with him other than he is hungry and doesn't want to give up his food. There is no aggression in his action just a hurried frenzy to finish before he loses his food. He is definitely photosensitive to all light. He does not seem to be afraid of anything or anyone and has been socialized quite well by someone in his past.
Dino is five, Jade is seven, well-loved pair whose owner has to move into a place which doesn't allow dogs because of life changes beyond her control. They would love to remain together, but can be placed separately. They would be fine with older children, and Jade would be OK with smaller children.
Shanel is six,very friendly and affectionate, good with kids, lived with another dog. She had puppies not long ago, and still has her puppy tummy. She has nice cropped ears, but she can curl them when she wants to.
Storm was six years old on Sept 27. She is a small, gentle blue girl. She has some alopecia, but is a cutie in spite of it. She may have CVI. We would love to find a home or a foster home for this sweet girl where she is the only dog or one with another very calm, mellow dog.
Max is 2 1/2, sweet and friendly, house-trained.
Several months back I pulled a very nice six year old male from carbon county animal shelter. He was owner released, they had him since he was a puppy for their handicap child , he served as a companion and service dog for him. After his death they no longer needed him!! I placed him in a good home however hard times have burdened them and they are losing their home, consequently I am looking for a new forever home. He is good with all animals, crate and housetrained. He is amazing in the fact he body blocks you and children from dangers ie: from the stairs ect... He would make a great dog for that someone special! We had him neutered and all shots current Thanks
Charley is four years old, and has had an awful life. Since she was a young dog, she was kept outside in a small kennel- no matter if it was snowing outside, or a hot day, Charley was forced to bear the weather. On top of all that she was forced to raise litter after litter of puppies in out in the cold, her previous owner just wanted the money her pups offered. In spite of her past, Charley is s happy, friendly girl who is fine with other dogs.
Raa is a big sweetheart, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, except for cats. HE HATES CATS. He likes sleeping in the bed with his chosen friend(usually it was one of our boys). He LOVES kids and is very tolerent of even the worst child. He loves car rides, camping and hiking, but if he gets loose, it will be hard to catch him. He is a runner. The only way to catch him is to pull the car ahead of him, open the car door and call his name. He will run and jump in. He has been known to climb fences and chairs and anything that would give him a high view vantage point. He has a quirky habit of sleeping on his back with his legs up in the air. I have NEVER heard him bark. Instead he lets out this half yodel, half whine sound. It's very loud and very deep and can be heard at a distance. It basically sounds like a bad opera singer. Other then that he is the best dog ever. He gets along well with other dogs, we made sure he got socialized. I think the only thing he is afraid of is being left alone and going to the vet. Oh yes, he IS housebroken, when he has to go he WILL LET YOU KNOW.
Jasmine is two years old, playful, energetic girl who has had some obedience training, and would thrive with an experienced owner who can spend lots of time with her.
Ducati is 18 months old, energetic and friendly, good with other dogs and kids (lived with an eight-year-old), but probably too active for toddlers. He would like an experienced owner who is willing to work on his obedience training and give him lots of exercise.
Cyprus is a “Velcro” dog. He loves affection and gives it back in return. He is obedient and very gentle. He loves to chase balls, play in the water and be among the family. He loves walks and short runs, loves to play ball and run in the sprinklers. He is at his best behavior when he is exercised daily. He is a wonderful dog and if circumstances were different, he would live out his life with his current owners. He needs a family or couple that is willing to make him a member of the family. He currently lives with a cat and is very patient and loving to it.
